Die neueste Version unseres Enterprise Content Management Systems ist da: pirobase CMS 10.4.
In diesem Release warten viele Features auf Sie, die Redakteuren dabei helfen, Inhalte vor der Veröffentlichung besser vorzubereiten und die Zusammenarbeit im Redaktions-Team zu verbessern. Im neuen redaktionellen Entwürfe-Bereich können Anwender neue Inhalte anlegen und testen, ohne jedoch ein Risiko einzugehen, da alle Änderungen nur intern sichtbar sind. Mit Seitenvorlagen können wiederkehrende Inhalte, wie Blogbeiträge oder Stellenanzeigen, jetzt noch einfacher erstellt werden. Außerdem wurde die Kommentarfunktion in der Redaktion erheblich erweitert und ermöglicht nun auch die Nutzung als To-dos. Weitere der insgesamt 187 Neuerungen befinden sich im Translate-Add-on, der Übersicht bzw. dem erweiterten Seitenbaum und dem Content-Check.
Entwürfe-Bereich: Neues ausprobieren ohne Risiko
Redakteure erhalten einen neuen Bereich zur Erstellung von Seitenentwürfen. Die Seiten im Entwurfsbereich sind dabei nie online, sondern nur für Redakteure zugänglich. Neue Vorlagen zur Inhaltsbearbeitung können so ohne Risiko ausprobiert und auch komplexe Seiten mit sensiblen Inhalten in einem geschützten Bereich erstellt und getestet werden. Seitenentwürfe können nach abgeschlossener Bearbeitung „live gestellt“ werden und wandern dadurch direkt in den Live-Bereich des Seitenbaums.
Seitenvorlagen: Wiederkehrende Inhalte einfacher erstellen
Bisher war es gängige Praxis, dass bei der Erstellung wiederkehrender Inhalte oft bestehende Inhalte kopiert wurden, was wiederum zu Fehlern führen kann. Mit den neuen Seitenvorlagen wird eine neue Funktion bereitgestellt, mit der diese potentielle Fehlerquelle vermieden wird. Redakteure können nun einfach neue Seitenvorlagen erstellen und zwar genauso wie bisher normale Seiten. Beim Anlegen einer neuen Seite können dann zusätzlich die zuvor erstellten Seitenvorlagen auswählt werden.
Kommentare: Für alle Inhalte und Verwendung als To-dos
Die Redaktions-interne Kommentarfunktion wurde ebenfalls erweitert und ermöglicht, dass neben Seiten nun auch die Inhalte selbst kommentiert werden können. Zusätzlich können Kommentare als To-dos genutzt und als "geklärt" markiert werden. Dies führt im Redaktions-Team zu mehr Klarheit darüber, welche Aufgaben offen und welche bereits erledigt sind.

There are many features in this release that help editors better prepare content before publishing and improve collaboration within the editorial team. In the new editorial drafts area, users can create and test new content without taking any risks, as all changes are only visible internally. Page templates now make it even easier to create recurring content, such as blog posts or job ads. In addition, the comment function in the editorial office has been significantly expanded and now also allows use as to-dos. Further of the 187 new features can be found in the Translate add-on, the overview or the extended page tree and the content check.
Designs area: Try out new things without risk
Editors get a new area for the creation of page drafts. The pages in the design area are never online, but only accessible to editors. New templates for content editing can thus be tried out without risk and even complex pages with sensitive content can be created and tested in a protected area. Page drafts can be made "live" once editing is complete and thus move directly into the live area of the page tree.
Page templates: Create recurring content more easily
Until now, it was common practice that existing content was often copied when creating recurring content, which in turn can lead to errors. With the new page templates, a new feature is provided to avoid this potential source of errors. Editors can now easily create new page templates just as they would normal pages. When creating a new page, the previously created page templates can then also be selected.
Comments: For all content and use as to-dos
The internal editorial comment function has also been expanded and now allows comments to be made not only on pages but also on the content itself. In addition, comments can be used as to-dos and marked as "clarified". This leads to more clarity in the editorial team about which tasks are open and which are already done.
