The intermediaries operate on the same principle as online marketplaces and arrange sales contracts with end customers for manufacturers on their behalf and for their account. The legal transactions are concluded between the end customers and the suppliers; the intermediaries are responsible for product staging and providing purchasing advice to the customer and receive performance-based sales commission for this.
If the products are made tangible at the point of sale with sample parts, Scalerion combines the advantages of both worlds for the end consumer: maximum product selection and availability with simultaneous tangibility of the goods.
